We’re just getting started with our Quarantine Routine for Beauty and today we’re featuring a video and a talk with Dr. Andy Schneider, one of our board-certified plastic surgeons. Dr. Schneider explains why skincare is so important when you’re stressed. Did you know stress can:
- Cause breakouts. Stress tells your body to make hormones like cortisol which tells your glands to create more oil. Oily skin is more prone to acne.
- Cause the breakdown of collagen and elasticity.
- Cause you to skip your regular skincare routine>which causes skin problems>which causes stress.
- Cause you to lose sleep which leads to puffiness around the eyes.
